Eli - Helping Every Child
(Updated 18/2/18 - We are blown away by the generosity and support we have received from you all! THANKYOU!!! We have now reached our second target - so........
H1 will now be receiving 2 thermometers!
J1 will also be receiving 2 thermometers!
And money raised between now and 1st March will go to thermometers for PICU (Paediatric ICU) or valuable items from their wishlist. We were overwhelmed to have reached our first goal of $1500 in under 48 hours of starting, so we aimed higher and decided to cover 3 of our fundraising ideas in one. Thankyou - because of your incredible support the families who stay in the Children's Wards at the John Hunter Hospital will benefit from these amazing pieces of equipment XX)
For Eli's first fundraiser - our goal is to donate two non-invasive, infrared thermometers to H1 Children's Ward, JHH.
They're quick and accurate!
Sick and injured children will no longer have be disturbed for their temperature to be taken.
Waiting for an armpit temp to be taken while trying to calm a sick child isn't fun! During our 5 weeks in the ward, nurses used an electric ear thermometer a couple of times - it was like a ray of sunshine for us! One beep and it was done.
We are taking it to another level! The thermometers we are purchasing will be attached to the 2 Observation Machines that are used throughout the day to take the Children's Obs. So every nurse will always know where the thermometers are.
Let's get these amazing pieces of equipment into the ward so babies, like Eli, and all children admitted can benefit, everyday.
We are aiming to donate the thermometers around Eli's Anniversary - 1st March 2018 - your help is greatly appreciated.
